The latest copy of SIMAP bulletin has an updated statistical report about surgical instrument industry of Pakistan. If you remember my last post , i was not much excited to see the way in which SIMAP presented the data. My excitement level has not raised since then but at least now we know the unit of measure ($, in millions). However, the data claims an impressive increase over the last report's % increase. Thats good news. And it shows to tell you that if the government fulfills the basic necessities of running industry (electricity, diesel, Gas, & infrastructure) the companies have the potential to outperform their own work to present even healthier industry sector.
According to the bulletin, the data is taken from the Trade & Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and shows an increase from USD 229 Million to 259 Million for the year 2010-2011.
