Surface Roughness of Instruments

Not many companies are concerned with the testing the surface finish of the instrument they manufacture. Most of the surfaces are evaluated subjectively through the naked eye and experience. However, we at Dr. Frigz are slightly more technical than that for many of our critical instruments. Generally, our goal is to convert subjectivity in testing into objective testing criteria. Hence, we use special meters and methods for checking the quality of our surface finishes.

This means that if our customer has a specific surface roughness requirement, we cannot only measure it but also strive to obtain it. After all, you can only achieve something if you can measure it. See our roughness tester in action on our youtube channel.
