Some companies are built on capital. Others are built on character. Dr. Frigz was built on both, but the character came first.
This month, we are proud to share something deeply personal with our customers, partners, and friends around the world: the biography of our founder and Chairman, Mian Muhammad Riaz. Titled Aks-e-Hayaat (عکس حیات), meaning Reflection of Life, this book tells the story of the man behind the brand. His struggles, his values, and the journey that made him who he is.

Mian Muhammad Riaz Is Dr. Frigz
When people ask what Dr. Frigz stands for, the answer is not a foreigner, a product or a certificate. Dr. Frigz is actually an acronym for the names of the original directors. You can read more about on this blog. But the closer to heart answer is that Dr. Frigz IS in fact a person.
Mian Muhammad Riaz is Dr. Frigz. He is the founder, the vision, and the driving force behind everything this company has ever been. To understand Dr. Frigz, you have to understand the man.
His is a true rags-to-riches story. Born into a humble family with limited means, he built everything from the ground up through two qualities he never once compromised on: honesty and hard work. These were not slogans. They were the way he lived, in business, with people, and at home. Everything the company stands for today traces back to those two anchors.
A Story Worth Telling
Mian Muhammad Riaz remains the Chairman of Dr. Frigz to this day. The second generation of the family now leads the company forward, carrying the same values he built into its foundation from the very beginning. The vision is unbroken. Only the hands have multiplied.
Aks-e-Hayaat is not a corporate story. It is a human one. It is about a young man from a modest background who refused to let his circumstances define his ceiling. It is about faith, persistence, and what becomes possible when a person simply refuses to give up.
We are sharing this book because the people who have been part of this journey, as customers, partners, suppliers, friends and family, deserve to know where we truly come from.
