Every instrument we make can be verified in seconds.
TRACEABILITY & BRAND PROTECTION
Every Dr. Frigz instrument carries a permanent laser-marked unique device identification (UDI) datamatrix, applied in-house. Scan it to see the production lot, GS1 identifier and registration record for that exact unit, and to confirm the instrument is genuine. Distributors use it to protect their territory from counterfeits.

How to scan a Dr. Frigz Instrument
01
Use a datamatrix reader
Scan the code on the instrument using a hi-resolution camera or a dedicated scanner to connect to the verification site.
02
Enter your email
Enter your email (one time only) to access all the logs for the instruments you scan. You can also register for a distributor account for more access.
03
Read the verification record
The complete log of the instrument is displayed on-screen with an option to request further verification.

WHAT YOU SEE
The full factory record for one instrument
Not a certificate for a batch. A cryptographically signed record for the individual unit in your hand, held in our factory database.

WHY IT MATTERS
What UDI marking gives your organisation
Four outcomes, from the shop floor to your regulatory filings.
SERIAL TRACEABILITY
Trace any instrument back to its manufacturer, its lot, heat number, production date, GS1 number & registration data.
REGULATORY READY
Fully aligned with FDA UDI Rule and EU MDR requirements. GUDID and EUDAMED submission support.
HIGH DENSITY DATA
UDI can hold all the required alphanumeric DI and PI characters in a footprint as small as a few millimeters.
COUNTERFEIT DETECTION
Instant authentication that protects your brand reputation around the world.
RUST-FREE MARKING
Special laser marking systems ensure no pitting, no corrosion and no dimming even after multiple sterilizations.
OMNIDIRECTIONAL READING
Alignment with the mark isn't essential for readability, improving efficiency in sterile processing departments.
